1. ride upon騎上，跨上。
△Rom.2.6.18:“A lover maybestride the gossamers/ That idles in the wanton summer air,/And yet not fall；”一個(gè)戀愛(ài)中的人可以跨上夏天空中飄蕩的游絲，也落不下來(lái)。
2. ride astride,sit across騎跨，坐跨。
△Rom.2.2. 31:“When he bestrides the lazy puffing clouds，” 當(dāng)他跨著懶洋洋的白云。
△3H.Ⅵ.5.4.31:“ Bestride the rock.the tide will wash you off，”跨坐在礁石上，潮水會(huì)把你沖走。
3. stride over a fallen man and defend. protect 騎跨在（戰(zhàn)斗中倒下的人）身上保護(hù)（他），保護(hù)。
