1. pick-pocket. thief (who cuts oft purses worn at
people’s girdles)扒手.（割人錢包的）竊賊。
△Lr.3.2.88(90):“Nor cutpurses come not to throngs；”割錢包的扒手不往人群里鉆。
△H.V.3.6.65 (62):“I remember himnow; a bawd,a cutpurse.”我現(xiàn)在可把他想起來了；他是個拉皮條的，一個扒手。
2. thief賊。
△Ham.3.4.99: “A cutpurse of the em-pire and the rule.”一個竊國盜位的賊。 |
