Echo:i.e. mountain goddess in Greek mythology,punished by Juno,queen of the gods,to be able onlyto repeat what she had heard. When Echo fell in lovewith Narcissus,a handsome youth,she could not de-clare her love but wasted away in a cave,leaving onlyher voice behind. 厄科，希臘神話中的一個山林女仙，因得罪神后朱諾，被罰只能重復(fù)別人的話。她愛上美少年那耳喀索斯但不能表示愛情，結(jié)果在山洞中憔悴而死，只留下了聲音.即“回聲”。
