Medea:(Gr. myth.)an enchantress who helped Jasonwin the Golden Fleece and became his wife. She knew the magical properties of plants,substituted their en-chanted juice for the blood of Aeson,her husband’s father,and thus restored him to youth. 女巫師美狄亞幫助伊阿宋取得金羊毛并與他結(jié)為夫妻。她知道各種植物的魔力，取其汁液以換掉她公公伊孫的血液，使他恢復(fù)青春。
