1.politically-minded,sagacious,wise,shrewd 有政治頭腦的，精明的，聰明的，機靈的。
△Ham.4. 3.21 (19): “acertain convocation of politic worms are e’en athim.”一大群精明的蛆蟲(又譯：官蟲)正在開會議對付他(又譯：正在吃他)。
△ R.III. 2.3.19: “For then this land wasfamously enriched With politic grave counsel；”因為當時國內(nèi)的重大朝政有的是英明的主張。
2. shrewdly united,well-organized 巧妙結合在一起的，組織良好的。
△ Ado.5.2.64 (62):“For them all togeth-er,which maintained so politic a state of evil”，為了你所有的缺點，因為它們形成了這么一種兼收并蓄的惡勢力。
3. dictated by policy,expedient 為策略所決定的，權宜之計的。
