是可忍，孰不可忍shì kě rěn , shú bù kě rěnhowcan this be tolerated? if all these can be tolerated,there is nothing intolerable; if one can bear this,what can one not bear? if this can be tolerated,what cannot?/是可忍也，孰不可忍也？(《論語(yǔ)·八佾》)If he can bear to do this,what may he not bear to do?/髦曰： “‘～也’！ ……” (《三國(guó)演義》984) “If I can bear this,what can’t I bear? ”said the king.
