2006年8月24日，國際天文學(xué)聯(lián)合會第26屆大會做出決定，把太陽系的～限定為8顆，它們是：水星、金星、地球、火星、木星、土星、天王星和海王星，而于1930年被發(fā)現(xiàn)的冥王星則被剝奪太陽系～的資格，降級為“矮～”。On August 24,2006,the International Astronomical Union at its 26th Conference adopted a decision that membership will be restricted to eight planets in the solar system:Mercury,Venus,Earth,Mars,Jupiter,Saturn,Uranus and Neptune,while Pluto,which was discovered in 1930,was stripped of the planetary status and downgraded to a “dwarf planet”.
