1. condemnation,sentence定罪，判決。
△Mac. 1.3.110: “But under heavy judgement bears thar life /Which he deserves to lose.”i.e.But his life,which hewell deserves to lose,he with difficulty supports underthe heavy sentence passed upon him. 但只是在嚴(yán)重的判決之下茍延著他那理應(yīng)喪失的性命。
△ H.VIII.2.1.58:“Ihave this day received a traitor’s judgement,/ And bythat name must die；”我在今天已經(jīng)被判決為叛逆，并且要在這個罪名之下死去。
△H.VIII.2.1.31:“to hear / Hisknell rung out,his judgement，”來聽他的喪鐘，他的判決。
2. legal trial (with a quibble on “Judgement Day”) 法審判(兼指“末日審判”)。
△Com.4.2.40: “One that,be-fore the judgement carries poor souls to hell.”未經(jīng)裁判，他先把人送到監(jiān)牢里邊。(雙關(guān)：末日審判還沒到，他就把可憐蟲們往地獄里送。)
3. God’s judgement; man’s judgement 上帝的世界末日審判；人間的審判。

4. faculty of discerning truth,discernment,discretion辨別力，明辨，判斷力。
△Oth.2.1.312 (300):“Or failingso,yet that I put the Moor / At least into a jealousyso strong /That judgement cannot cure.”如果做不到這一點，我至少也要使這摩爾人產(chǎn)生一種理智所無法治療的強(qiáng)烈嫉妒。

5. good sense明智。
△Ham.3.4.69:“The heyday inthe blood is tame,it’s humble,/ And waits upon thejudgement,and what judgement / Would step fromthis to this?”旺盛的欲火應(yīng)該已經(jīng)馴服了，已經(jīng)衰微了，該聽從理智的節(jié)制了，但是你從這邊跨到這一邊，又算得什么理智？
6. notion,opinion 意見。
△ 2H.IV.1.3.20: “Myjudgement is we should not step too far / Till we hadhis assistance by the hand.”我的意見是：在他的援助尚未到手之前，我們不可過于冒進(jìn)。
7. retribution報應(yīng)。
