1. powerful 強(qiáng)大的。

△R.III.2.1. 110: “Whotold me how the poor soul did forsake/ The mightyWarwick and did fight for me?” 誰(shuí)來(lái)告訴過我這個(gè)可憐的人怎樣拋棄了強(qiáng)大的沃里克而為我戰(zhàn)斗？
2. great 偉大的。
△2H.VI.3.2.240: “The traitorousWarwick,with the men of Bury,/ Set all upon me.mighty sovereign.”叛逆的沃里克，帶著伯利的老百姓，一齊向我攻擊了，偉大的君王。
△H.VIII.5.5.3 (5.4.2): “thehigh and mighty Princess of England,Elizabeth!”英格蘭的高貴而偉大的公主伊利莎白！

5. considerable,large and splendid相當(dāng)大的，大而堂皇的。

6. important,great重要的，大的。
