1. i.e. supposed seat of all ill humours,irascibility,fiery temper,fit of passion,fit of anger 脾臟（被認(rèn)為一切壞脾氣的中心），暴躁，火暴脾氣，激怒，發(fā)火。
△Oth.4.1.88(87): “Marry,patience,/ Or I shall say you’re all inall in spleen / And nothing of a man.”真的，要忍耐，不然我要說你只有一副火暴脾氣，一點(diǎn)不像個男子漢。
△Shr.3.2.10:“a mad-brain rudesby full of spleen，”一個瘋瘋癲癲、喜怒無常的渾人。
△Rom.3.1.163 (157):“the unrulyspleen”，一味發(fā)火。

2. i.e. regarded as the seat of the strong passions; an-ger,hatred,spite 脾臟（過去被認(rèn)為是強(qiáng)烈激情的中心）；憤怒，仇恨，怨恨。
△H.VIII.1.2.174: “You charge not inyour spleen a noble person / And spoil your noblersoul.”你要特別注意，不要為了怨恨而誣告一位高貴的人，并且因此毀掉你自己更為寶貴的靈魂。
3.i.e. supposed the organ of sudden action or im-pulse; impulsiveness,impetuosity,irritability,excita-bility 脾臟（被認(rèn)為是產(chǎn)生沖動或沖動行為的器官）；沖動，魯莽，急躁，易激動。

4. malice,malevolence,spitefulness,hatred 惡意，惡毒，怨毒，仇恨。
△Lr.1.4.305 (281):“If she must teem,/Create her child of spleen，”i. e. a child consisting on-ly of spitefulness. 如果她一定要生育，就讓她生 一個以怨毒作心腸的孩子。

5. tumultuous speed,violent haste 忙亂，火急。

youthful spleen: the ardour of youth 年輕人的激情。

7. high spirit,courage 高昂的氣概，勇氣。
heated spleen: fiery spirit,anger,impetuosity; cour-age roused to a high pitch 火氣，憤怒，猛勁兒；高昂的勇氣。
