《屈原》qu yuanQu Yuan→郭沫若 (Guo Moruo) 屈原Qu Yuan (formerly Ch’u Yuan,340—277BC)—minister of the State of Chu and one of China’s earliest poets,who commited suicide by drowning himself in the Miluo River on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month.In order to commemorate him,the Chinese people have since regarded this day as a festival—the Dragon Boat festival—and usually eat pyramid-shaped dumplings made of glutinous rice wrapped in reed leaves（粽子）on this day |
