言之無(wú)文，行而不遠(yuǎn)yán zhī wú wén , xíng ér bù yuǎnwithout elegant composition of the words,one will not go far
? 志有之：‘言以足志，文以足言，’，不言，誰(shuí)知其志?！?(《左傳·襄二十五年》) An ancient book says，“Words are to give adequate expression to one’s ideas; and composition,to give adequate power to the words.” Without words,who would know one’s thoughts; without elegant composition of the words,they will not go far. |
