·1922年3月 中國(guó)社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)天津支部在北洋法政專門學(xué)校成立

1920年10月上旬，覺悟社社員諶小岑，受李大釗和第三國(guó)際的委派，來天津協(xié)助張?zhí)谆I建社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)。經(jīng)過緊張的籌備，10月，張?zhí)住⒅R小岑、胡維憲(覺悟社社員)、吳南如(北洋大學(xué))、鄭德、陶某(南開大學(xué))和京奉鐵路局的兩名職員，共計(jì)團(tuán)員7人，在河?xùn)|特別二區(qū)大馬路一家裁縫鋪樓上(今建國(guó)道91號(hào))開會(huì)，選舉張?zhí)诪闀洠⑼ㄟ^張?zhí)灼鸩莸膱F(tuán)章，天津第一個(gè)社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)組織建立。
會(huì)上，大家一致贊成辦一份報(bào)紙，定名為《勞報(bào)》,由諶小岑、胡維憲編輯。1921年1月4日，《勞報(bào)》創(chuàng)刊發(fā)行，每日四開一張，主要報(bào)道國(guó)內(nèi)外新聞、工人狀況、工運(yùn)消息，以雜感、故事、通信等各種體裁和通俗易懂的文字，向工人和群眾宣傳革命思想。
團(tuán)組織除出版報(bào)刊外，還進(jìn)行了一系列的組織活動(dòng)，星期日例會(huì)，7人全到，交流情況，研究問題。并把上海共產(chǎn)主義小組出版的《共產(chǎn)黨》月刊和陳望道翻譯的 《共產(chǎn)黨宣言》介紹給群眾； 把李大釗的文章《我的馬克思主義觀》印成小冊(cè)子散發(fā)，促進(jìn)了工人運(yùn)動(dòng)的發(fā)展。
天津社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)，屬于北京社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)中央的地方支部。北京經(jīng)常來人出席會(huì)議，指導(dǎo)天津團(tuán)組織的活動(dòng)。如趙世炎、瞿秋白、張國(guó)燾、何孟雄、鄧培等。由于張?zhí)住⒅R小岑相繼調(diào)離，天津第一個(gè)社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)組織，僅活動(dòng)了兩個(gè)月。
1922年3月12日，天津第二個(gè)社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)組織，在宇緯路四段12號(hào)(今河北區(qū)四號(hào)路勝天里)建立。設(shè)執(zhí)行委員會(huì)，分為書記、出版、宣傳3部； 各部正副主任，都是執(zhí)行委員； 于樹德、李峙山為書記部正副主任； 有團(tuán)員11人，包括李騰(天津水產(chǎn)學(xué)校學(xué)生)、安體誠(chéng)(北洋法政學(xué)堂教員)等。1923年下半年，由于于樹德、安體誠(chéng)等被黨組織派往外地工作，加上一些學(xué)生團(tuán)員畢業(yè)離津，天津青年團(tuán)人數(shù)減少，組織活動(dòng)暫時(shí)停頓下來。
1924年3月9日，中國(guó)社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)天津地方執(zhí)行委員會(huì)，在直隸高等工業(yè)學(xué)校召開成立大會(huì)，到會(huì)男女團(tuán)員49人。會(huì)上推選于方舟、李濂祺、張寶泉、崔溥、王乃寬為委員，鄧穎超、王貞儒、盧碩、謝曦為候補(bǔ)委員。4月16日，天津團(tuán)地委舉行第一次會(huì)議，擬定了團(tuán)的活動(dòng)計(jì)劃，確定了委員的分工，于方舟任委員長(zhǎng)，李濂祺為秘書，張寶泉為會(huì)計(jì)，崔溥負(fù)責(zé)宣傳，王乃寬負(fù)責(zé)教育。
1925年1月，青年團(tuán)第三次全國(guó)代表大會(huì)通過決議，社會(huì)主義青年團(tuán)改稱中國(guó)共產(chǎn)主義青年團(tuán)，天津遂于3月16日，召開團(tuán)員大會(huì)，改選了新的領(lǐng)導(dǎo)成員。

In September 1920,Zhan Xiaocen,a member of theJuewu Association,appointed by Li Dazhao and theThird International,came to Tianjin to assist ZhangTailei in preparing for the founding of the Youth League.After busy preparations,Zhang Tailei,Zhan Xiaocen,Hu Weixian (a member of the Juewu Association),WuNanru (Beiyang University),a student whose surnamewas Tao (Nankai University) and two employees fromJingfeng Railway Bureau met on the upstairs of atailor`s house in the Big Road in the No. 2 special zonein Hedong District (now No.91 in Jianguo Road) andelected Zhang Tailei secretary of Tianjin Youth Leagueand passed the regulations of the League drafted byZhang Tailei. Thus,the first socialistic Youth League inTianjin was founded.
At the meeting,they agreed unanimously to run anewspaper called Labor Newspaper. Zhan Xiaocen andHu Weixian were editors of the newspaper. On January4,1921,Labor Newspaper was founded and published.The newspaper was a daily with four pages. It reportednews home and abroad,workers` conditions and workermovement news in plain language and various styleslike essays,stories and letters. It instilled revolutionarythoughts into the public.
Besides the newspaper,the Youth League organizeda series of activities. All of the seven people attendedroutine meetings on Sundays to exchange ideas anddiscuss problems. They introduced Communist Monthlypublished by Shanghai Communist group and Manifestoof Communist Party translated by Chen Wangdao to thepublic. They also printed My Maxist View by Li Dazhaoand spread out them to the masses. The activities theyorganized promoted the development of workers`movement.
Tianjin Youth League was one of the local branchesof Beijing Youth League which often sent its membersto Tianjin to instruct the activities of Tianjin YouthLeague,such as Zhao Shiyan,Qu Qiubai,Zhang Guotao,He Mengxiong and DengPei. Because Zhang Tailei and ZhanXiaocen were moved to other positionssuccessively,the first Youth League inTianjin had run only for about two months.On March 12,1923 the second Youth Leaguein Tianjin was set up in No. 12 segment 4 onYuwei Road (now ShengtianLane in No.4 roadin Hebei District). The league hadan executive board,includingthree departments,secretary,publication and propaganda. Thedirector and vice director of thedepartments were all members of the executive board.Yu Shude and Li Zhishan were the director and vicedirector of the secretary department. The League hadeleven members,including Li Teng(a student of TianjinAquatic School) and An Ticheng (a teacher of NorthernLaw and Political Science College).
On March 9,Tianjin Local Execution Boardof China Youth League held a founding assembly inZhili Industrial High College. Forty-nine members ofthe League attended the assembly. Yu Fangzhou,LiLianqi,Zhang Baoquan,Cui Fu,Gong Naikuan wereelected members of the board and Deng Yingchao,Gong Zhenru,Zhang Rulin,Lu Shuo and Xie Xialternate members.
On March 9,1924,Tianjin ExecutiveBoard of Youth League of China cameinto being and held a ceremony atZhili Higher Industrial School with49 attendants. The elected memberswere Yu Fanzhou,Li Lianqi,ZhangBaoquan,Cui Bo and Wang Naikuan.The elected alternative members wereDeng Yingchao,Wang Ruzhen,Zhang Rulin,Lu Shuo,and XieXi. On April 16,Tianjin DistrictBoard held the first meeting anddrew out the action plan. The workfor executive members was divided.Yu Fangzhou was the Chairman; Li Lianqi,Secretary; LiChanglian,Accountant; Cu Pu,Propaganda; and WangNaikuan,education.
In January,1925,the Youth League held thethird national congress and changed its name to ChinaCommunist Youth League. On March 16,Tianjin held itsgeneral meeting and re-elected leaders.
