Cranmer:Thomas Cranmer(1489-1556),English prel-ate,who gained favour of Henry Ⅷ by supportingthe divorce of Henry from Queen Katharine. Hetravelled on the European continent gathering learnedopinions on the divorce question,and then declaredHenry’s marriage with Katharine null and void. In1533 he was appointed archbishop of Canterbury托馬斯·克蘭默，英國高級教會人士，因支持亨利八世與凱薩琳王后離婚而得到前者的寵信。他曾在歐陸搜集學(xué)者們關(guān)于亨利離婚的意見，然后宣布他與凱薩琳的婚姻無效。
