△Mac.4.3.94:“De-votion,patience,courage,fortitude，”虔誠、耐性、勇敢、剛強。
△2H.VI.2.1.87 (85): “Tell me,good fellow,cam’st thou here by chance / Or of devotion,to this holy shrine?”告訴我，好人，你來到這座神圣的祠廟，是出于偶然還是出于虔誠呢？
△3H.VI.4.6.42: “While I myselfwill lead a private life,/ And in devotion spend mylatter days，”我自己則要過一種退隱的生活，在虔誠修行中度過晚年。
2. devoutness,piety,i.e. worship,prayer虔敬，虔誠，（指）禮拜，祈禱。

4. worship,reverence 崇拜，敬仰。
