1. he他。
△As.1.1.46 (43): “Ay,better than him(= he whom) I am before knows me.”哼，比在我面前的人認(rèn)識(shí)我還要清楚些。
2. it 它。
△ Mac.2.3.35 (30):“Therefore much drinkmay be said to be an equivocator with lechery: itmakes him.and it mars him; it sets him on,and it takes him off:”(Lechery is personified.)所以，多喝酒，對(duì)于淫欲來(lái)說(shuō)，可以說(shuō)是一個(gè)兩面派；促成它，又?jǐn)乃?；鼓?dòng)它，又撤消它。
3. himself他自己。
△Shr.Ind.1.76: “to repose himhere.”要在這里休息一下。
△Shr. Ind.1.122:“Who forthis seven years hath esteemed him/No better than apoor and loathsome beggar.”他在七年來(lái)一直自以為只是個(gè)可憐的討人厭的乞丐。
△As.1.1.136 (128):“acquit himwell.”i.e.prove himself well,conduct himself well.拿出他自己的本領(lǐng)來(lái)。
△Lr.5. 3.215 (214): “threw himon my father,/ Told the most piteous tale of Learand him / That ever ear received，”他撲到我父親的尸體上，講出 了關(guān)于李爾和他自己的聞所未聞的可憐的故事
△ 1H.IV.1.3.287 (286):“The King will always thinkhim in our debt，”國(guó)王總要覺(jué)得他欠了我們的債。

?the opportunity gained loses momentumif men delay.要是我們拖延，就給他人擴(kuò)大了機(jī)會(huì)；（又譯）拖延下去就會(huì)把良機(jī)錯(cuò)過(guò)。
5. for himself為他自己。
△Mac.5.4.5(4):“Let everysoldier hew him down a bough，”讓每個(gè)兵士都為自己砍下一根樹(shù)枝。
Him above: God in Heaven天上的上帝。
△Mac.3.6.32:“with Him above / To ratify the work，”加上上帝對(duì)此事的允準(zhǔn)。 |
