1. i.e.ordinary day 工作日，（轉(zhuǎn)義）平常日子。

2. i.e. work. business工作日，（轉(zhuǎn)義）工作，正事。
for the working-day: for work,on business. not on aholiday 為了工作，辦正事，不是度假。
△ H.V.4. 3. 108:“Let me speak proudly: tell the Constable / We arebut warriors for the working-day；”讓我自豪地說一句：告訴你們大元帥，我們這些兵不是到這里來度假的。
