群居終日，言不及義qún jū zhōng rì , yán bù jí yìbe together all day long and never talk about fun damentals; spend all one’s time in enjoyment,say nothing serious at all/“～，好行小惠，難矣哉?！?(《論語·衛(wèi)靈公》)“To be together all day long and never talk about fundamentals but take pleasure only in giving small favours—indeed it’s a hopeless case!”/但是四萬萬男女同胞，僑胞，異胞之中，有的是 “飽食終日，無所用心”，有的是“～”。(《魯迅選集》Ⅲ—23) But of our four hundred million men and women com patriots,overseas Chinese and immigrants,some“l(fā)ive to eat,without a care in the world，” and some“spend all their time in enjoyment,saying nothing serious at all.” |
