Europa:1. i. e. daughter of the king of Phoenicia,of whomZeus (Jupiter or Jove in Roman mythology) becameenamoured. He assumed the shape of a white bullwith golden horns in order to approach her. She ca-ressed him and sat upon his back. Zeus thereupon car-ried her off to Crete. 歐羅巴，腓尼基王之女，為宙斯（即羅馬神話中之朱庇特或周甫）所愛(ài)。宙斯變做一頭金角白牛，接近歐羅巴。當(dāng)她對(duì)牛愛(ài)撫并騎上牛背時(shí)，他即將她馱到克里特島。
