scalda. (lit.) afflicted with scales,scabby; scurvy,mean,contemptible （原義）生滿瘡痂的，生疥瘡的；（轉義）下賤的，卑劣的，可鄙的。
△H.V.5.1.5: “the rascally,scald,beggarly,lousy,pragging knave,Pistol.”那個無恥的、卑鄙的、下賤的、骯臟的、吹牛的奴才皮斯多。
scaldvi. burn as with hot liquor,scorch 燙傷，燒灼。
△2H.IV.4.5.29 (30): “Like a rich armourworn in heat of day,/ Thatscalds with safety.”i.e.bothprotects and burns.就像在大熱天穿上的富麗的鎧甲，既提供了安全，又把人灼傷。
