1. security,guarantee保證，擔(dān)保。
double surety: twofold security. i.e. temporal andspiritual authority,spiritual dignity and personalstanding雙重保證，（指）世俗的與教會(huì)的權(quán)威，教會(huì)顯職與個(gè)人高位。
△2H.IV.1.1.190: “He is a man / Who with adouble surety binds his followers.”他這個(gè)人能夠以雙重的保證約束他的那些追隨者。
sarcenet surety: slight security薄弱的保證。
△1H.IV.3.1.255(251): “And givest such sarcenet surety forthy oaths”。對(duì)你所賭的咒誓只給予這樣軟弱的保證。
2. certainty. confirmation確實(shí)，確定。
