? 鬼猶求食，若敖氏之鬼，不其餒而？ (《左傳·宣四年》) If ghosts must be seeking for food,will not those of our Ruo’ao clan be famished? 若敖鬼餒ruò áo ɡuǐ něi若敖：指春秋時(shí)期楚國的若敖氏；餒：餓。若敖氏的鬼將因滅絕祖宗而無人祭祀。現(xiàn)多比喻斷子絕孫，沒有后代。heirless, have no children, die without issue |
