1. crown王冠。
△Ham. 2 . 2 . 537 (506): “a clout uponthat head / Where late the diadem stood，”頭上裹著一塊破布代替了原先的冠冕。
△Ham.3.4.100: “That from ashelf the precious diadem stole,/ And put it in hispocket!”從架子上把寶貴的王冠偷取下來，裝進(jìn)了自己的腰包！
△2H.VI.1.1.245 (244): “Nor shall proud Lancaster(i.e.Henry VI) usurp my right,╱ Nor hold the scep-tre in his childish fist,╱ Nor wear the diadem uponhis head，”就連那驕傲的蘭開斯特也不能篡奪我的權(quán)利.不能讓他那幼稚的拳頭握住王杖，也不能讓他的頭戴上王冠。
