Persian Empire (6th century-4th century BC)—It was the center of a powerful empire which included all of western Asia,Egypt,and parts of eastern Europe. It was overthrown by Alexander the Great in 330BC,conquered by the Muslim Arabs between AD 633 and 651,it was renamed Iran in 1935.
