1. not obviously intelligible,not clear or plain,dark不能明白理解的，含糊不清的，隱秘的。
△Oth.2.1. 265(257): “an index and obscure prologue to the historyof lust and foul thoughts.”那正是淫蕩和骯臟念頭的歷史的引子和不可告人的序幕。
2. humble,mean卑微的，低賤的。
△2H.VI.4.1.50:“Obscure and lousy swain，”卑賤的、生滿虱子的村夫。
3. living in the dark,fond of darkness and night生活在黑暗中的，愛好黑暗或黑夜的。
